Summit Property Inspection & Services Inc. (SPIS) was created in 2004 by me, Vito DiSumma. With my family roots in the construction industry and 20+ years of hands-on experience has brought me to what I believe is the next natural step forward, a career in Home Inspection.

I am a post graduate of the Home Inspection Training program from the Sheridan College Technical Institute. I have also completed the Building Code training and the Health and Safety training offered by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs & Housing.

With this training in hand, I have been able to become a Registered Home Inspector (RHI) and a member of The Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI) and the Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors (CAHPI), the governing bodies of the Home Inspection industry. All members of OAHI are required to stay current and maintain high professional standards through continuous education and experience. OAHI also sets out the Standards of Practice which provides inspection guidelines as well as a Code of Conduct which defines a member’s responsibility to act in a strictly fair, impartial and professional manner. Clients can therefore be rest assured that both, the Standards of Practice and Code of Conduct, as set out by OAHI, are strictly followed.
